Ratsnik Slit Scythe got his name from his favourite weapon, a magic scythe. Well versed in the art of slitting his opponents (or so he claims), he assumed his presumptuous title. When the Council of Thirteen demanded that all clans sent troops to assist the siege of Middenheim, Ratsnik Slit Scythe was sent with a host of troops to ensure clan Ratsnik got its share.

Like all Skaven Slit Scythe aims at nothing less but world domination. He is just facing a slight problem so far - his army. Even though he calls it boastly his "might" it is rather small right now. The long way from the Badlands to Middenheim has taken its toll on his army and he is still waiting for reinforcements to arrive. He commands a solid center of Skaven warriors (at least solid for Skaven standards) as well as some additional forces from clans Eshin, Moulder and Skryre. He himself is accompanied by a bodyguard of storm vermin that have fought many battles with him in the Bad-lands against marauding goblins.

The other problem that Slit Scythe is facing is that the war over Middenheim was almost over once he got there. And while he had helped to secure the tunnels that connected Middenheim and the surrounding lands with Skavenblight and raided a good number of human baggage trains on his way north, the other warlords deny him what he considers to be his rightfull share…
